Lean back and let our Care Guiding Spirit guide you through the essentials.

When treated with care, your jewelry will last forever.

Daily Wear

We understand—you want to wear your jewelry all the time. Trust us, we do too. But the key to preserving its beauty is knowing when to take it off.

Avoid wearing your jewelry while working out or lifting heavy objects. Solid gold is strong, but it can still bend under pressure, and gemstones can chip or break if struck or dropped.

Remove your jewelry before cleaning, including dishwashing, scrubbing floors, showering, or doing laundry—too many hard surfaces involved. Or better yet, delegate the cleaning and keep your jewels safe.

Your beauty routine matters, and while perfumes, sprays, cleansers, and lotions won’t damage your jewelry, they can dull its brilliance over time. To keep your gold and gemstones pristine, put your jewelry on last.

Cleaning

There are two levels of jewelry cleaning—the kind you can do at home and the kind best left to professionals.

At-home cleaning: Use a mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft brush (an old toothbrush works well) to gently clean your jewelry. This restores its sparkle and can be done as often as needed.

Professional cleaning: A trusted jeweler can re-polish and restore your jewelry to its original brilliance. Choose someone reputable, ideally by recommendation.

We do not recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner at home, as it may cause unintended damage. Leave this to a professional jeweler.

Jewelry Insurance

Your ATUR jewelry comes with a one-year warranty, but this is not the same as insurance. We strongly recommend insuring your fine jewelry, just as you would any other valuable possession.

For more information on our warranty please see our warranty policy.

Rhodium Plating

Jewelry with rhodium plating will naturally wear over time and typically needs re-plating every 1–2 years, depending on usage.

To prolong the plating, keep your jewelry dry and away from chemicals, including perfumes, soaps, and lotions. Rings, in particular, experience faster wear due to daily friction.

For re-plating, we recommend using a trusted local jeweler.

Gemstone Care

Gemstones are admired for their strength, but even the hardest stones—yes, even diamonds—can chip or break upon impact.

Some gemstone cuts and types are more delicate than others and require extra care. The best approach? Wear your gemstone jewelry mindfully and remove it before engaging in any physical activities.
